A gentle, yet powerful cleanser that effortlessly resurfaces and removes daily grime and impurities. Organic moringa oil and non-foaming coconut oil-based surfactants cleanse the skin while maintaining the skin barrier. Natural alpha-hydroxy-acids from Caviar Lime, Hibiscus and Pomegranate work together with papaya enzymes to exfoliate, brighten, and help keep breakouts at bay. A low level of American red clay draws out excess oil and impurities without stripping the skin. Skin is left feeling fresh, clean, balanced and ready for the rest of your routine. Suitable for all skin types, especially dull and congested.

How Does It Feel?
Elegant, cream-gel texture. You’ll notice this cleanser does not foam. This is due to the high concentration of organic moringa seed oil included to nourish and moisturize the skin whilst cleansing, to offset potential irritation or drying from the surfactants and actives in the formula.

Active Clay Cleanser effectively cleanses the skin, leaving a perfect canvas for the rest of your routine. Over time, congestion and pores appear minimized and blemishes appear less frequent.

APPLICATION
HOW DO I USE IT?
STEP 1
Massage 1-2 pumps onto dry face and neck, adding water to emulsify as needed.
STEP 2
Gently massage into the skin.
STEP 3
Rinse off with lukewarm water.
STEP 4
In the evening, if wearing heavy makeup or SPF, we suggest using Fluid Emulsifying Oil Cleanser as a first cleanse, before going in with Active Clay Cleanser for your second cleanse.
*Patch testing prior to use is recommended.

Botanical Brighteners + Exfoliants
A blend of Hibiscus, Papaya, and Caviar Lime which are naturally rich in AHAs, BHAs & fruit enzymes, effectively exfoliate, retexturize & brighten the skin. Licorice contains the unique flavonoid compound glabridin, and is scientifically proven to brighten the skin.

"Cleansing is the foundation of your routine and is often overlooked as unimportant, or second thought when it comes to skin health, and seeing results from your skincare. I wanted to formulate a cleanser that included active ingredients at functional concentrations, typically found only in serums. The combination of botanical extracts rich in alpha and beta-hydroxy acids, and proteolytic (breaks down proteins) enzymes provide a very subtle surface exfoliation on the skin, at a controlled level suitable for all skin types to use daily without dryness or irritation. - Rinse out the bottle to remove any traces of cleanser.
- Separate pump from bottle.
- Dispose of the pump in your waste bin. Our pumps are multi-material, so are unfortunately not recyclable. We are always on the lookout for more sustainable solutions.
- Place the bottle in your recycling bin. No need to remove labels, as they will be removed as part of the recycling process.
- Box can be placed in municipal recycling.

- Wait until you have 5 empty sachets and send us an email at hello@etymologie.ca. We will send you a pre-paid mail slip for you to send them back to us for proper recycling through Terracycle.
- You can also drop off your empty sachets with our retail partners and we will collect them, and ensure they are properly recycled.
