FAQ

ADDS is a daily moisturizer that should be used after cleansing and after applying mists or toners to your face.

Yes, as ADD is has a balanced omega 3,6 and 9 fatty acid profile. It’s particularly high in omega-6 fatty acids, which are lacking in oily skin skin. ADD effectively moisturizers oily skin types without clogging pores, and actually helps reduce oil proaction over time. We suggest using a few drops of ADDS as your only moisturizer for oily skin types.
Yes, omega-9 and omega-6 fatty acids are excellent moisturizing and anti-aging ingredients. They help reinforce the lipid barrier of the skin, are know to have skin rejuvenating properties that moisturize and calm skin by providing anti-oxidant protection.
Whenever you add a new product to your skincare routine, especially an oil, there may be an initial breakout period as your skin adjusts to using oil as a moisturizer. Don’t panic - this is normal, and will last for 2-3 weeks at an absolute maximum. To avoid this, it’s best to add ADD into your moisturizing routine slowly, so your skin becomes gradually accustomed to a hydrating oil.
Antioxidants are defined as a substance capable of preventing or slowing the oxidation of other molecules. Oxidation is a chemical reaction that describes the loss of electrons from a molecule - in this case the molecules are the protein and lipid molecules in your skin, including collagen! When molecules in skin are oxidized you start to see visible signs of aging such as wrinkles, dark spots and inflammation. Antioxidants help prevent this and protect your skin from UV, and harmful pollution from heavy metals and factors such as traffic.
